Cramped Camp

I started hiking at the same time as Mozart, who hiked the AT in 2015, and before we even got out of camp I saw the biggest bunny I have ever seen. I tried getting a picture but it just looks like a blur jumping away from us. The trail was really overgrown in this area so that slowed me down a bit but it wasn't too bad just really annoying. I was able to hike a really long time before I needed to take a break which was so nice considering just a few days I had to stop and lay down once an hour.

I finally stopped for lunch near a creek where I got water and was able to read and take a short nap before FP starting talking.

By the end of the day I was feeling pretty good. Even though one of the water sources we had to use was way off trail It didn't really bother me to go get it. When we reached the campsite we had agreed to meet at DW was already there and there were also two other girls who were section hiking parts of the trail. S talked to them for a while and FP and Sean made a fire which was nice. I rehydrated two of my meals from A and it was delicious. The campsite was kind of squished but we all fit without too much issue.

Having Mt. Shasta in our sights for so long has been great but at this point I am getting a bit tired of it...
