Day -200
In 200 days I (and maybe Andrew) will take the first steps on a 2,650 mile journey on the Pacific Crest Trail. Starting on the US-Mexico border in Campo, California on April 12, 2017 (give or take a few days) I will head north and eventually end up at the US-Canada border (key word: eventually).
Though this is the first post (of many), I have been preparing (mostly mentally) for this upcoming adventure for a while. As of right now, everything that I will be using for the entire trek (pack, sleeping pad, sleeping pouch, tent) have been purchased and field tested. Planning where I am going to make refueling stops is my next priority.
With documenting my trek I hope to record my physical and (most importantly) mental journey so I am able to see how this experience changes or does not change me.
