All I can really remember from today is almost being blown off the trail when I was walking across a stretch that was similar to the knife's edge back in Washington. When I got to the other side I met another hiker who had apparently been trying to cross those 10 yards for the last hour...

At the end of the day I passed a pond at the base of a large rock formation that had an American flag at the top! I found camp before it was dark and saw someone I met at Shelter Cove. It was nice to know I am not the only one who skipped this section.

Solo day number three also a success.
