Tourists

AH's and my friend from home who moved to California made the trip to Yosemite to hang out with us. We drove around and saw some of the main Yosemite sights like El Capitan, some waterfalls and the original location of where John Muir's cabin was built. What I would not give to live in that spot. Between wading through some flooded streams and watching crazies climb giant slabs of rock we ate food lots and lots of food.

AH and I rented bikes and rode around to various sights as well. On one of our many visits to the grocery store we ran into two former thru hikers, one of which I met at the southern terminus where he was recording how many people were starting each day.

After returning the bikes we found our way back to the grocery store and sat outside the main door charging our phones. If we had not already earned to use the label "hiker trash" we sure did at that point.

Throughout the day there had been a few scattered showers. Luckily my tent was still dry when I went back later that night.
