Plus Quilts

What do you do when the fabric in your stash does not reflect your aesthetic anymore? Some might suggest to gift the fabric to someone who has a use for it (I would recommend this route) or maybe make some . In my case, despite my educational background in psychology, I became susceptible to the sunk cost fallacy and because I spent money on fabric bundles that no longer inspired me I hatched this plan to make some quick quilts to get the fabric out of my stash. Unfortunately, I did not think about what I would do after the quilts were finished and now, instead of getting rid of a two little bundles of fabric, I have to figure out what to do with two completed quilts. It is proving to be problematic considering I have now put even more time, effort and money into them (and I still don’t like them).

BUT! They are complete and can sit in a corner until I figure out what to do with them. I have also learned what I will not do the next time I find myself with fabric that I have no desire to use.
