Bee

I got stung by a bee or something after doing some bushwhacking after crossing a washed out bridge and trying to find my way back to the trail.

The smoke coming from the surrounding forest fires was ridiculous. The stretch the trail went through a valley I could barely see halfway up the side of the surrounding rock faces. I was a little bit bummed that I wasn't able to see the surrounding scenery but the smoke gave me a different experience than previous years so I guess that is a good thing. And I have been able to hike Washington continuously so far (knock on wood). I already know that there are people (AH) that had to skip sections because of the fire by Cascade Locks that jumped the river and caused the town to be evacuated.
