HYOH

Leaving the cabin this morning went pretty quick considering there was nothing to put away. There was a nice long decent and then a flat burn area that had a bunch of wildflowers growing through it. Probably one of my favorite sections in Oregon so far right after Crater Lake.

When we passed the turn off to Elk Lake FP decided to hitch to town and skip about two days of hiking (shake my head). Knowing that we would have to skip the Jefferson fire so I would never be able to live with myself for skipping with no intention of coming back to finish it.
