Shelter Cove
I woke up extremely early and got really pretty fast mostly because I couldn't sleep and because I wanted to get to the resort to see if I could catch Sean if he stopped there. I found out that Simba ended up not getting to 40 miles and ended up on the side of the trail. Hiking in the dark in the morning is much less scary than hiking in the dark at night since I know that the sun is going to come up soon rather than this perpetual darkness that doesn't seem to go away. I got to the resort before FP and DW got there and I just hung out trying to charge my phone. We ended up staying there way longer than we originally planned once we found out that Sean had left the night before. The people working there were extremely nice and gave us a bunch of fruit that they didn't even carry in the store. Once we did leave, we only hiked about 8 miles to a close-by cabin where we bunked for the night with Sean, Hula, Simba and an Australian dude.
