Yehoram to Raham
After the grueling night, I woke up around 6 and took some pictures before Sean came and met us! We woke up. We went to our first water cache and thankfully found all the water we had ordered and paid for! We set out and immediately found ourselves in a tight squeeze, where we removed our packs and got down one by one.
In the middle of the day we took a break under a tree and then later under another tree. Tress are sparse and shade doesn't come in many different forms. The occasional tree every few kilometers.
We hiked for what seemed like forever, down a canyon bottom, on a road, on another road until we reached our camp (in the dark again). We were so tired and exhausted from being sleep deprived we didn't even set up our tent and cowboy camped with Sean. I also noticed that it was extremely difficult to get rehydrated after the dehydration of the long fight and subsequent desert conditions. Again, another reason to take a recuperating break prior to embarking on the trail after traveling over 6746 miles.
