Seiad Valley
We tried to wait for the rain to stop in the morning before we got out of our tents but it didn't look like it would so we got out anyways, put on our wet clothing, packed everything up and made a bee line to Seiad Valley. Even if it had stopped raining the wet plants hanging over the trail would have gotten us just as wet. When we got to Seiad Valley the rain had stopped and we were able to lay out all our gear to dry in the parking lot. In the cafe we had lunch and the tastiest peach smoothie I have ever tasted. After the smoothie and other calorie dense foods we hiked out of the valley. I was so full I basically rolled myself up the hill and it was so smokey from the surrounding forest fires it wasn't a good time. I did get to see an elk though so that was cool. About halfway to the top Viking passed me and I found FP waiting for me apparently worried I had fallen down the hill. A little further we all topped off our water and then found camp at the top of the climb. It got pretty cold that night but nothing we couldn't handle and cute little deer were everywhere.
