Halfway
Today I had to stop every couple miles (literally couple aka 2) to lay down. My body was not happy with me. After a short snow patch scare I got to the halfway point of the PCT! The "group" as I have dubbed them as of now had waited for me to show up and we ate a couple snacks before continuing on. Optimistic Turtle turned up there as well and she remembered me from Kennedy Meadows :)
That evening I came to a meadow that had a bunch of cows in it and I had to wait until they left before I even dared to start across the boardwalk that crossed the meadow, because I was so scared they would charge me or something. I crossed the road that lead to Chester where the group was sitting drinking pop from a lady who was waiting for Optimistic Turtle. I got to call my mom and then we went a little further to a place where we questionably camped and a guy invited us to hang out with him, so we brought our cooking equipment over to his camp chairs and told our various stories from the trail while he attempted to get us to a variety of songs from his phone.
I'm not going to lie. I had been hiking with this group for a decent amount of time but at the time I had no idea what Sean and S's names were and it made me so uncomfortable.
