Harts Pass
Where we camped ended up not being that terrible. It was windy but I was still there when I woke up and hadn't blown away so that was a plus. We also got to see a really nice sunrise through storm clouds. It was foggy all day long and cold to go along with it. Stopping for any amount of time would lower my body temperature to where I would just want to start running around in circles to get warm again. It was really cool to walk through the clouds like that even though I probably missed a bunch of beautiful scenery.
There was a group of runners who started at Rainy Pass this morning and were ending at Harts Pass (where we ended up) and then starting at Harts Pass tomorrow and ending at the border tomorrow as well. That sounds like so much fun. I think I might take a stab at ultra running at some point. Anyways.
For lunch DB set up his tarp to shield us from the little rain that was coming down. At the end of the day we found ourselves at Harts Pass which is probably a really nice campground when it is sunny. I tucked my tent in between a few trees and tried to shield myself from the wind as much as possible before I got in and stayed in my tent for the rest of the night.
