Gifford Pinchot
I had a nice slow start to the morning. We walked on the only part of the PCT I have ever been on prior to starting in April through the Gifford Pinchot National Forest. While I was getting water from a river I slipped and got one shoe and half my pants wet... luckily it was sunny out and it didn't take long to dry that out.
Before we started a longish climb, FP and I stopped to eat some lunch and grab water. While we were there a family passed by and offered us a bag of cherries and some other snacks. I could never say no to fruit so those were gone in about 10 minutes. Right before we left Sean showed up again <3.
At the top took a break before going down hill with a beautiful view of Mount Adams and met Nature Monster.
FP, Sean, Nature Monster, and I all camped at a campsite that had an outhouse and picnic tables! We ate dinner together and then retired to our tents or in Sean's case ground sheet.
