Timna Park to the Nomad Camp

This morning I felt a little better but my nose was still stuffed. We were ready to go by 6 and when we found Sean we started walking towards our first climb that we wanted to get out of the way before the sun came all the way up. We managed to pass all the groups that passed us this morning while we were still packing up. Once we were at the top we kept going without a break to catch up with wherever Sean had disappeared to. When we found him we all took a break in the shade and ate some snacks. We soon became a little chilly so we packed up and got back on the trail. During our break I thought I was charging my phone with my solar panel but the cord wasn't plugged in all the way. Sigh. Wasted sunlight.

After what seemed like forever in the oversized sandbox we were hiking in A and I fell slightly behind P and Sean. At one point we missed the turn off and hiked a kilometer in the wrong direction. After hiking backwards I took out my umbrella and hiked until we found our other two companions sitting under a large tree in the middle of a large shadeless field. A couple of dates later (literal dates like the fruit) we started off again and didn't find shade again until after we had a break in the sun. We took another break in the newfound shade and then made our way the last few kilometers to Shaharut.

When we got to the city limits we found a sign to a Nomad's Camp and pointed ourselves in that direction. We found other hikers, tents, showers and a warm dinner there and I even got to practice some German.

A found a giant beetle in the shelter we slept in and in the morning I found a weird looking earwig type bug... but no scorpions yet so that is good.
