Nomad Camp to Paran
P, A, and I packed up pretty quickly this morning since we didn't need to put away tents or anything like that. We left Sean behind because he wanted tea and cookies and could easily catch up with us.
The trail took us through a valley and then on top of some hills. We road walked past some archeological sites and then back up to see a sand dune.
The rest of the way until Shizafon junction we walked on a dirt road with a little break under a bridge on the way there. Sean showed us how to smoke canned tuna with some toilet paper and a lighter.... it didn't smell too bad but it still looked disgusting.
When we got to the junction we stopped at the restaurant that is located there and ate some sorbet, cake and some kind of warm sandwich.
Sean left us to go home and we decided to hitch down the road a few kilometers to skip one day of walking on a road that goes straight through two military installations and is pretty boring. We later found out that most people skip this section and it made me feel less dirty about it.
We refilled our water from the cache and we hiked a few more kilometers to Paran NC to make tomorrow a little shorter.
I was able to take a short jog up a hill and take some pictures from the top. The sunset was really pretty as well.
