Sonora Pass
Just over 15 hours of driving with 2 hours of sleeping on the side of the road later my dad dropped me off at Sonora Pass and I started south. I didn't see many people at all. like literally no one after one day hiker from Reno talked to me for a few minutes. There was a little bit of snow but nothing that i needed my micro spikes for though I was happy that I had them just in case. I camped at Dorothy Lake right after Dorothy Pass right at the edge of Yosemite National Park! I really like solo camping. It pushes me to be more confident in my abilities and not default to being the tagalong sidekick.
